The Atlanta Hawks (27-33) will play the Memphis Grizzlies (38-22) in the NBA tonight. The game will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
Atlanta
Atlanta got off to a rough start, being outscored 40-23 in the first quarter just two days ago. It ultimately lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a final score of 135-119.
Onyeka Okongwu performed well, contributing 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, while Caris LeVert also scored 23 points. Trae Young added 19 points and dished out 12 assists, although he struggled with his shooting, making only 5 of 14 attempts.
Young scored just four points in the first half, all from free throws, after failing to convert on three field-goal attempts.
He didn’t make his first field goal until the third quarter with 10 minutes remaining, yet he still managed to earn his 35th double-double of the season, with four such games in the last six outings.

In February, Young averaged 28.3 points, 11.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.9 steals over 37.4 minutes per game. However, his shooting efficiency was low, hitting only 30.6 percent from the field and attempting about 10.1 three-pointers per game.
With a record of 27-33, the Hawks are ninth in the Eastern Conference, holding one of the play-in spots.
Given that the team in 11th place is nearly six games behind, they will likely secure a playoff spot unless a significant downturn occurs in the remaining games.
Memphis
The Grizzlies faced a tough challenge. In the second quarter, they were outscored 46-28, ultimately losing to the San Antonio Spurs 130-128.
Jaren Jackson Jr. led the team with an impressive 42 points, while Jaylen Wells contributed 18 points. Zach Edey added 17 points, along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Coming off a narrow 114-113 defeat against the New York Knicks the previous night, the Grizzlies were without their starting backcourt, Ja Morant and Desmond Bane, due to soreness after playing a back-to-back game.

The Spurs capitalized on this, shooting 61% in the first half and building a 77-58 lead. Morant appeared on the injury report after playing 31 minutes against the Knicks, where he recorded 25 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.
His absence snapped a streak of five consecutive starts, during which he averaged 22.0 points, 7.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Both Morant and Bane are expected to return for Monday’s game against Atlanta, while Luke Kennard, Jaylen Wells, John Konchar, and Scotty Pippen will likely revert to bench roles.
As they prepare for the matchup against the Hawks, the Grizzlies currently hold the fourth spot in the competitive Western Conference.
Hawks-Grizzlies Best Bet
Desmond Bane and Ja Morant were sidelined during the Grizzlies’ 130-128 defeat to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
Since it was part of a back-to-back and neither has any injury listings, both players are set to play in the upcoming game against Atlanta.
In their absence, Jaren Jackson Jr. had a standout performance. He’s poised to shine again against a struggling Hawks defense. He shot 60% from the field and notched his first 40-point game of the season—his sixth overall.
The Hawks rank 26th in points allowed in the paint and are weak defensively in the first quarter, sitting at 28th. Expect Memphis to come out on top and cover the spread.
Best Bet: Grizzlies -8.5 points at -110 odds
