A professional sports handicapper who built a multimillion-dollar fortune through high-stakes betting and later became a consultant has relisted his Nevada home at a significant discount.

Cody Vaujin, who calls himself the “GOAT of sports betting,” bought his Henderson, Nevada, mansion three years ago for $5.4 million. The property is located 12 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. This was a major investment from his high-risk betting activities. Now, as he moves to Arizona to raise his child, Vaujin has relisted the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home for $5.53 million. The price is down from $6.99 million eight months ago.

Mansion Details

The 5,718-square-foot residence, listed with Ida Doman of IS Luxury, was built in 2023. These upgrades were funded in part by his success in the betting world. In addition, the residence includes a state-of-the-art home theater and an advanced smart system.

Located in Ascaya, a highly sought-after luxury community, the future owner will enjoy access to a range of amenities beyond those within the property. On a related note, betting on the perfect location for a new home can be as important as choosing the property itself.

Residents have access to a gym and poolside cabanas. The clubhouse features expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip. With newly built walkways for cyclists and runners, as well as parks and playgrounds—a safe bet for families and those interested in wellness—this is community living at its finest for those who appreciate a lifestyle beyond just betting.

The listing highlights the pool, featuring a waterfall and electric fireplace, as an ideal spot to enjoy the morning sunrise. The first floor offers seamless indoor-outdoor living. After all, making memories in a beautiful space may outshine any betting win. Guests can move easily from the kitchen and dining room to the pool and courtyard. An outdoor kitchen complements the indoor chef’s kitchen. Also, the indoor chef’s kitchen is equipped with premium Thermador appliances and connected to a cocktail bar and dining area.

While the home is ultramodern, it maintains a warm and inviting atmosphere. For gatherings or dining during cooler months, the courtyard, with fireplace and mountain views, offers a relaxing escape that’s worth betting on for comfort.
