The Golden State Warriors (33-28) will play the New York Knicks (40-20) in an exciting cross-conference matchup on Tuesday.
The Knicks are riding high with a three-game winning streak, having secured a thrilling 116-112 overtime victory against the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Warriors bounced back on Monday, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 119-101 to get back into the win column.
The game will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
This matchup marks the first encounter between the two teams this season; last year, the Knicks edged out the Warriors 119-112 on March 18, 2024.
The Knicks are favored by 4.5 points, with the over/under for total points set at 226.5, down from an opening line of 231.5.
Golden State
Steph Curry, currently nursing an ankle tweak from Monday, is known for his ability to space the floor and consistently create plays.
He leads his team with an impressive average of 24.1 points, alongside 4.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. His shooting from beyond the arc stands at 39.6%, taking 11.2 three-point attempts each game.

In a game against the 76ers on March 1, Curry showcased his skills with a strong performance, scoring 29 points and dishing out 13 assists while sinking 5 of 12 attempts from three-point range.
Meanwhile, forward Jimmy Butler is gradually finding his place on his new team.
Known for his high-energy play and versatility as a scorer, the 35-year-old averages 16.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and five assists per game. In a matchup against the Mavericks on February 23, Butler scored 18 points and provided five assists.
New York
Jalen Brunson has established himself as a key scorer and facilitator for the Knicks. He currently sits eighth in the NBA with an average of 26.1 points and 7.4 assists per game, shooting 39% from beyond the arc.
The former Villanova star has recorded over 30 points in two of his last three games. He had a standout performance against the Heat on Sunday, where he notched 31 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

On the other side, OG Anunoby has emerged as a significant two-way player in the frontcourt. He averages 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.
The 27-year-old has scored at least 15 points in three consecutive games, and in his most recent match, he tallied 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three blocks.
Warriors-Knicks Best Bet
The Golden State Warriors have an impressive record of 8-1 in the nine games with Jimmy Butler in the lineup. They approach their matchup against the New York Knicks with a record of 8-6 against the spread as road underdogs this season.
I’m taking the points with the Warriors in this game since they boast the third-best net rating in the NBA over their last 10 outings.
In contrast, the Knicks surprisingly sit at 21st in net rating during that same period. Despite winning seven of their last ten games.
New York’s recent games have been tightly contested (in their wins), and they’ve experienced heavy losses, contributing to their lower net rating.
After the Knicks struggled to cover against the Philadelphia 76ers at home last week, I believe they will face challenges against a Golden State squad that has shown title contender potential since acquiring Butler.
Although it’s the Warriors’ second game of a back-to-back, they secured a comfortable victory against Charlotte on Monday. They were able to rest some veterans.
Don’t be surprised if Golden State pulls off an upset tonight, but I’ll take the 4.5 points as the best bet in this one.
Best Bet: Warriors +5.5 points at -110 odds
