Aces get 2-game road reset before All-Star break

Aces road reset starts Monday in Toronto before a quick stop in Washington ahead of All-Star weekend. After an ugly loss to Indiana, Las Vegas needs sharper defense, better ball movement and a response that matches A’ja Wilson’s message.

Las Vegas Aces teammates A’ja Wilson (22) and Jackie Young share a lighthearted moment during the team's 2025 media day. After an eight-day break following a disappointing loss to Indiana, the Aces return to action with road games at Toronto and Washington before Wilson and Young head to the WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago.

The Las Vegas Aces got the rest they needed. Now comes the harder part.

Eight days have passed since Indiana handed Las Vegas a 109-75 loss at Michelob ULTRA Arena. The Fever led wire to wire, made 15 3-pointers and turned a competitive third quarter into a rout.

The Aces return Monday at Toronto, then visit Washington on July 22. Those are their final two games before A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young and Becky Hammon head to Chicago for All-Star festivities.

Rest mattered after three games in four days. However, Wilson did not want the break to erase what happened.

“I don’t want to flush this game away at all,” Wilson said after the Indiana loss. “I think we need to understand we can’t look like this anymore against any team.”
