The PWHL Las Vegas franchise recently announced that forward Sydney Langseth has signed a 2-year Standard Player Agreement ahead of the 2026-27 hockey season. This is an exciting development for the hockey community in Las Vegas.
Langseth spent the 2025-26 season as a rookie with the Seattle Torrent. She earned a reserve contract from training camp and impressed many with her hockey skills. In addition, she was activated after the Olympic break and made her professional debut on February 27.
Before joining the PWHL, Langseth played five seasons at Minnesota State University. She graduated as the program’s all-time leader in games played. Furthermore, she ranked sixth in scoring with 90 career points (36G, 54A), showcasing her hockey achievements.
With this signing, Las Vegas now has 13 players under contract: forwards Abby Boreen, Jada Habisch, Katy Knoll, Darcie Lappan, Maureen Murphy, Haley Scamurra, and Natalie Snodgrass; defenders Erin Ambrose, Mae Batherson, Madison Bizal, Megan Carter, and Kendall Cooper; and goaltender Nicole Hensley.
