The Las Vegas Aces continue to show up for the community, supporting people across the city, including those experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities and local youth. Now, through a new collaboration with Junior Docs, the Aces will host a free STEAM clinic.
The clinic will feature hands-on activities that connect science, technology, engineering, art and math to basketball. That kind of twist can keep kids more engaged. As a result, it may help them learn and retain more than they would in a traditional classroom.
Hosting it right in the neighborhood at Aces HQ makes it easier for families to take part without traveling far or spending money. Kids ages 6-13 can register for the free event, and spots are filling up quickly. In fact, the clinic has only been posted for one day.
Getting kids out of the house and learning through hands-on activities matters. At the same time, they get a fun experience they will remember.
Bringing an opportunity like this to local families also shows how committed the Aces are to Las Vegas. The clinic is set for Saturday, March 21, from 1-3 p.m. PT, and fans are rushing to register before spots run out.
