Conor McGregor may be sidelined with another devastating knee injury, but the former two-division UFC champion is already showing fans that his road back has begun.

Less than two weeks after suffering a torn ACL and meniscus during his long-awaited return at UFC 329, McGregor shared a workout video that quickly went viral, giving supporters hope that another comeback may still be possible.

McGregor’s highly anticipated return against Max Holloway lasted just 69 seconds before disaster struck. Attempting an explosive movement early in the fight, McGregor suffered significant damage to his right knee, forcing the contest to be stopped and handing Holloway a TKO victory.

Medical evaluations later confirmed injuries to both his ACL and meniscus, with surgery scheduled in the coming days. Despite the setback, McGregor isn’t wasting any time beginning his recovery.

In a video posted to social media, the 38-year-old was seen performing leg extension exercises inside a gym while wearing a pair of pool slides, demonstrating that rehabilitation is already underway before surgery.

Fans Rally Behind “The Notorious”

The clip immediately generated thousands of reactions from fans encouraged by McGregor’s determination. Many praised the Irish superstar for refusing to let another major injury slow his mindset.

Among the comments flooding social media were: “We want the return of the Mac.” Another supporter joked about McGregor’s resilience. “Titanium knees.”

Others simply wished him well during what is expected to be another lengthy rehabilitation. “Good recovery.”

The injury marks yet another heartbreaking setback for McGregor. After breaking his leg during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021, McGregor spent nearly five years away from competition before finally returning at UFC 329.

Unfortunately, his comeback ended almost immediately when the knee injury forced another extended absence. McGregor has already confirmed that surgery is the next step before beginning a full rehabilitation program.
