The Raiders kept filling out new head coach Klint Kubiak’s staff Monday, announcing three more hires in team releases.

Las Vegas named Joe DeCamillis special teams coordinator, Matt Robinson safeties coach and Travis Smith defensive line coach.

Joe DeCamillis takes over special teams

The Raiders named Joe DeCamillis special teams coordinator on Monday.

According to the Raiders, DeCamillis spent the past two seasons at South Carolina as associate head coach and special teams coordinator. He earned a Broyles Award nomination in 2025 after overseeing a unit the school “completely overhauled” from the previous year.

DeCamillis brings a long NFL track record back to the league. The Raiders said he has 34 years of NFL experience, including 32 as a special teams coach, and that his units reached seven conference championship games and four Super Bowls. The team credited him with Super Bowl titles with the Broncos in 2015 and the Rams in 2021.

Matt Robinson joins as safeties coach

The Raiders named Matt Robinson safeties coach on Monday.

Robinson spent the past five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens from 2021-25, according to the Raiders. The club said he worked with outside linebackers in 2025 and assisted the defensive line in 2024. In 2023, he served as a defensive quality control coach after joining the Ravens in 2021 as a defensive coaching fellow.

The Raiders said Robinson worked primarily with the defensive backs in 2022. The club noted Baltimore ranked No. 3 in points allowed per game and defensive red zone touchdown percentage that season.

Before the NFL, Robinson coached at Maryland (2019-20) and Connecticut (2017-18), the Raiders said. Robinson also played at Maryland, appearing in 39 games over five seasons. He saw time at defensive back and linebacker, according to the club.

Travis Smith returns to coach the defensive line

The Raiders named Travis Smith defensive line coach on Monday.

Smith comes to Las Vegas after working as the Titans’ defensive run game coordinator in 2025, according to the Raiders. The club said he helped DT Jeffery Simmons earn his fourth Pro Bowl. The Raiders said Simmons led all NFL interior defensive linemen in several categories, including solo tackles, tackles for loss, sacks and quarterback pressures.

Smith spent three seasons as the Bears’ defensive line coach from 2022-24 before returning to the Raiders. The Raiders also noted Smith spent 10 seasons with the Oakland and Las Vegas Raiders from 2012-21 in a variety of defensive roles.

Smith and his wife, Christina, have a son, Jackson, and a daughter, Harper, according to the Raiders.
