Aces Wings
The Aces came out on fire to start the game leading 18-6 midway through the first quarter shooting 8-10 from the field. Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, and A’ja Wilson got off to a fantastic start with six points each.
Dallas would fight back, outscoring the Aces 12-7 to end the quarter, as Vegas shot 3-10 from the field. Arike Ogunbowale made a buzzer-beating shot to put the Wings within 7 points, 25-18, at the end of the quarter.

Dallas did not go away in the second quarter, outscoring the Aces 19-17 and cutting the deficit to 5 at halftime, 42-37. A’ja Wilson scored 11 of her 17 points in the quarter, and she led the Aces in scoring at halftime (8-11 shooting). Satou Sabally led Dallas at halftime with 11 points.

A’ja Wilson stole the show in the third quarter, scoring 15 of the Aces 27 points. Vegas finished the third on a 7-3 run, taking an 8-point lead 69-61. Wilson entered the fourth quarter with 32 points, 14-19 (73.7%) from the field, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

Dallas would fight their way back into the game, taking their first lead since 4-2 in the first quarter, 82-80, on a Sabally jump jumper. The two teams would go back and forth with trips to the free throw line late. Arike Ogunbowale scored two free throws late to put Dallas up 91-90 with 35 seconds left, but the Aces failed to score on the next possession and were forced to foul again. Satou Sabally would convert two free throws, giving Dallas a three-point lead and ultimately winning the game 93-90.
Dallas had three players score more than 20 points, led by Satou Sabally’s 28 points on 10-14 (71.4%) shooting from the field. Natasha Howard ended with 24 points, while Arike Ogunbowale got 20.
The Aces had just three players score more than 10 points, led by A’ja Wilson’s season-high 42 points on 16-22 (72.7%) shooting from the field. Jackie Young ended with 17 points but failed to get going from three, shooting 1-7 from deep while grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists.
Chelsea Gray had another productive game, ending with 15 points on 4-8 (50%) from the field, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Las Vegas Aces will return home to take on the Atlanta Dream on Friday. The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ION.
