Aces Wings
These two teams have played twice this season, the last time in July when the Aces beat the Wings 104-85, with A’ja Wilson scoring 28 points. The Aces offense, which leads the league with an average of 86.9 points per game, has struggled in recent games, scoring more than 80 points just twice in their previous five.
This game might be a chance for them to get back on track, as the Dallas Wings allow the most points per game at 90.9. Dallas also has the league’s worst defensive rating at 110.5, having allowed more than 90 points in three of the four games since the WNBA returned from the Olympic break.
One bright spot for the Wings has been the return of Satou Sabally, who missed the first half of the season due to offseason surgery. Sabally averages 18.9 points per game, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.
Arike Ogunbowale and Natasha Howard are two additional Dallas Wings players to keep an eye out for, both coming off 30-point performances.

As for the Aces, Chelsea Gray is coming off one of her strongest all-around performances since returning from the Olympic break. Gray finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals while looking very aggressive on the offensive end.

Megan Gustafson also made her first start of the season last game and had significant impact on both ends of the court.

It is not certain that she will start again this game, as Becky Hammon has said that she will choose the fifth and final starting spot based on matchups. If Gustafson starts against the Wings, the Aces will be able to spread the floor against a huge squad that can pack the paint on defense.
With the Seattle Storm falling to the Mystics last night, the Aces will look to win this game and take a one-game lead over Seattle for fourth place. This is significant since the Aces will most likely finish in fourth or fifth place, so securing fourth place and homecourt advantage is critical.
