Will the Aces go for the jugular in game 4 to clinch third title?

After a thrilling last second fadeaway jumper from the Aces M’VP A’ja Wilson over the Phoenix Mercury to secure game 3 on the road nonetheless, the Las Vegas Aces are just one game away from winning their third WNBA championship in just four short years.

Game 4 is scheduled for Friday, October 10 at 5pm PT and will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The curse is lifted. The Aces were successful in winning their first game 3 during the finals in franchise history.

The Aces are 11-5 in series clinching games since moving to Las Vegas.

Over the last three games, the Aces have averaged 90.0 points per game compared to the Mercury’s 80.8 points per game.

The Aces will continue to rely on the will to win from A’ja Wilson who set a single postseason record with 291 points in the 2025 postseason, guiding the Aces to last second victory scoring 34 points and 14 rebounds. Jackie Young came in clutch adding 21 points

The duo of A’Jack combined for 61.1% of the Aces overall scoring in game 3.

Jewell Loyd led the bench in scoring putting up 16 points and going 4 of 7 from the three-point line.

According to sources at Burn City Sports, Phoenix will be without the talents of forward Satou Sabally in Friday’s game. In game 3, Sabally suffered a concussion and will be in concussion protocol.

Sabally led Phoenix during the postseason scoring 19 points 7 rebounds, and a team-high 2.4 three-pointers made.

Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper will carry most of the load for the Mercury.

If necessary, game 5 is scheduled to head back to Las Vegas. Game 5 will be played on Sunday, October 12.
