Ilia Topuria offers up his brutal opinion of Conor McGregor’s health.
Topuria has been regarded as a fighter who has the potential to be a McGregor-like star in the UFC. He has often been compared to ‘The Notorious’, whether by appearance or by personality.
McGregor vs. Topuria is one of the biggest fights in the promotion, but it won’t happen, as far as Topuria’s opinion of McGregor’s health is concerned.
On a recent episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, Topuria shared his opinion on McGregor’s health and whether it is possible for McGregor to make a comeback to the UFC.
According to his contract, McGregor has two fights left to fulfill but it has been riddled by injuries and multiple controversies outside of the cage.
Topuria said, “His toe is f****, his chin is f****, his body is f*****,” Topuria remarked. “With that much parties and drugs and all that, you’re gonna have to pay that price at some point.
“You are paying the price with your health which is the dumbest thing you can do in your entire life,” Topuria continued.
Ilia Topuria is currently awaiting a title shot against Islam Makhachev at lightweight.
