The No. 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide (28-8) will face the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils (34-3) on Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, in an Elite 8 matchup in the NCAA Tournament.
Duke reached this stage with a 100-93 win over Arizona, holding off a strong comeback fueled by G Caleb Love’s 35 points.
ACC Player and Rookie of the Year F Cooper Flagg led Duke with 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, while G Kon Knueppel scored 20 points and G Sion James added 16.
Duke didn’t cover the spread against Arizona, which was its first non-cover in the tournament after two successful outings in Raleigh. The Over has hit in all three tournament games, maintaining a strong trend with a record of 10-3 over the last 13.
Alabama continued its high-scoring trend in the Sweet 16, defeating BYU 113-88 while covering a 4.5-point spread on Thursday.

Alabama is seeking a spot in the Final Four for the second consecutive year. Last year, they edged out sixth-seeded Clemson 89-82, progressing to the national semifinals before losing to the eventual champion, UConn, 86-72.
This marks Alabama’s third trip to the Elite 8, and notably, it’s the first time they will face a team other than UConn in this stage. The over is the top bet on the board, and the scoreboard operator should prepare for a busy night filled with constant scoring.
