Nathan Peterman, a former quarterback for the Las vegas Raiders, is transitioning to a new career following his retirement from professional football. According to Irving Mejia-Hilario for Sports Business Journal, Peterman is training to become an NFLPA-certified agent at Range Sports. Previously, Peterman was represented by Kyle Strongin of Range Sports. Now, Peterman will collaborate with his former agent in this new capacity.
Peterman was selected in the fifth round of the NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He subsequently played for the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders. During his time with the Las Vegas Raiders, he primarily served as a backup to Derek Carr. In 2024, he signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent, but was released during the summer roster cuts. He concluded the season on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad. Recently, he participated in a tryout with the Denver Broncos prior to announcing his retirement.
As a backup quarterback, Peterman earned over $5.9 million through contracts with five teams during an eight-year career. He recorded 160 pass attempts. Moreover, his agent played a significant role in sustaining his NFL tenure despite limited starting opportunities. Peterman is now seeking to establish himself as an agent.
