A’ja Wilson already has the trophies, records and signature shoe.
Now she has the orange box, too.
Wheaties announced Wednesday that the Las Vegas Aces superstar is the newest athlete to appear on its iconic orange box, adding another national marker to a resume that keeps expanding on and off the court.
The limited-edition Wilson box will be available at major retailers this summer.
Champion treatment
Wilson is a three-time WNBA champion and the league’s first four-time Kia WNBA MVP. Now she joins the long list of athletes tied to the “Breakfast of Champions” brand.
“Being on the cover of a Wheaties box is one of those things you grow up dreaming about,” Wilson said in the announcement.
For Wilson, the moment also carries a larger message. She said the honor is about showing young girls what is possible when they dream big, trust the work and keep pushing the game forward.
Bigger than the box
The timing fits where Wilson’s career already sits.
She remains the center of the Aces’ identity on the floor, but her reach has grown well beyond Las Vegas. Her foundation supports youth with dyslexia and works to combat bullying, giving her platform more weight than the numbers alone.
That is what makes the Wheaties cover feel less like a novelty and more like another sign of where Wilson stands.
She is not just one of the faces of the Aces.
She is one of the faces of the sport.
