The Henderson Silver Knights’ 2025-26 season stands as the most successful in franchise history. Head coach Ryan Craig identified a pivotal moment. The team’s performance improved following the all-star break.

“We went into San Jose, played one of our best games of the year, the next night lost to the same team and that was the start of the run,” Craig said. “I think as a group, how we were able to take in what had happened on the weekend, understand it, learn from it, the response from our group, galvanized ourselves to what we accomplished.”

This turning point led to a 21-4-4 record in the second half of the regular season, making the Silver Knights the league’s top-performing team.

The team’s consistent performance was evident throughout the season. The Silver Knights finished with 90 points and 39 wins, both new franchise records. Offensively, the Silver Knights set a single-game record by scoring 9 goals. On special teams, the Silver Knights led the AHL with a 26 percent power play success rate.

These statistics highlight only a portion of the individual performance records. Tanner Laczynski tied the franchise points record with 64, matching Gage Quinney’s mark from 2022-23. Meanwhile, Raphael Lavoie set a new franchise record with 30 goals in a single season. Dylan Cormier set franchise records for a defenseman with 39 assists and 47 points. Matyas Sapovaliv and Jeremy Davies became the first players in franchise history to appear in all 72 games in a single season.

Despite the Silver Knights’ loss to Colorado in the divisional semifinals, captain Jaycob Megna stated that expectations are already higher for next season.
