Las Vegas Aces guard Chelsea Gray will join Prime Video’s WNBA coverage as a player contributor. She will make select in-studio pregame show appearances for the rest of the 2026 season, according to Front Office Sports.
Gray, the only active four-time WNBA champion and a six-time All-Star, has developed a strong broadcast résumé during WNBA offseasons. She has served as an ACC Network analyst, covering regular-season and NCAA Tournament games for the Nothing But Net studio show. In addition, she contributed to Sacramento Kings pre- and postgame broadcasts during the 2023-24 NBA season.
This move follows a similar arrangement with Kelsey Plum, whom Prime Video named a player contributor for select appearances earlier this season. In the NBA, Kyle Lowry took a similar role during the NBA playoffs.
The active-player contributor model has become more common in the WNBA this season. Sophie Cunningham has taken a similar role at USA Sports.
Gray will join a studio team led by host Allie Clifton. The team also includes Hall of Famers Cynthia Cooper, Swin Cash, and Teresa Weatherspoon. Additionally, contributors Candace Parker, Lindsey Harding, and Tamera “Ty” Young are part of the team.
Michael Grady and Parker head the main game broadcast team, supported by play-by-play announcers Lisa Byington and Mike Watts, and analysts Kara Lawson and LaChina Robinson. Prime Video is in the first year of an 11-year WNBA agreement. The platform broadcasts 31 regular-season games, one first-round playoff series, seven conference finals series, and three WNBA Finals each season.
Gray and the Aces are set to play in the Commissioner’s Cup championship, airing on Prime Video, June 30, 2026, against the New York Liberty.
