Last season, the Las Vegas Raiders traded veteran wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars for fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. After showing improvement with Jacksonville, Meyers is focused on further elevating his performance in 2026.

During his three years with Las Vegas, Meyers was a key contributor to the Raiders’ offense. In his first full season with Jacksonville, he is expected to serve as the Jaguars’ second wide receiver behind Brian Thomas Jr. entering Week 1.

Despite his contributions, many NFL fans and analysts remain skeptical about Meyers’ potential impact in 2026. However, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report recently ranked Meyers sixth among the most underrated wide receivers entering the regular season.

Meyers recorded 2,186 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns with the Raiders. Traded to Jacksonville before last season’s deadline, he may quickly become a key secondary option for the Jaguars in 2026.

Throughout his seven-year career, Meyers has consistently demonstrated adaptability. As a skilled route runner, he has made significant contributions to each team and enters the upcoming season as one of the league’s most underrated wide receivers.
