The Raiders’ offseason calendar is set, and Klint Kubiak’s first spring on the job begins this week.

According to the team, Las Vegas opens its offseason program April 7 and runs through June, closing with mandatory minicamp. The Raiders will also use the new-head-coach bonus to hold an extra voluntary veteran minicamp from April 20-22.

April 7: The install begins

Phase One starts the voluntary nine-week program with two weeks limited to meetings, strength and conditioning and rehab work. It is not flashy, but it is where a new staff puts its stamp on the room.

Kubiak has already made his priority clear. “It’s our silent tape,” he said in his introductory news conference. “It’s nothing that we say, it’s what we do on the field.”

This first stretch is where that standard gets defined before anyone lines up against anyone.

April 20-22: Kubiak uses the extra minicamp

New head coaches can add one more voluntary veteran minicamp, and the Raiders chose April 20-22. That window gives Kubiak and his staff extra on-field time before OTAs begin.

It also lands right before the biggest date on the spring calendar. The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft begins April 23, and the Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick. Leaguewide projections have linked Las Vegas to Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman winner and national champion, though the team has not announced its plan.

Kubiak has described draft prep as a daily rhythm with GM John Spytek and the scouts.

“We’re really spending a lot of time by ourselves watching tape,” Kubiak said. “Then we come together later in the day and talk about what we see, starting to put our board together.”

The extra minicamp gives that same approach a head start with the roster they already have in the building.

OTAs: May 18 through June 4

Phase Three is where spring football starts to look like football. The Raiders’ OTA dates are May 18, May 20-21, May 26, May 28-29 and June 1-4.

No live contact is allowed, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 work is permitted. For a new system on both sides of the ball, OTAs are where alignment, communication and tempo get tested in real time.

Mandatory minicamp: June 6-11

The spring closes with mandatory minicamp June 6-11. It is the last full-team checkpoint before the summer break and the ramp toward training camp.

The fine print and what’s next

The team noted dates may change at its discretion. Rookie minicamp dates will be announced closer to the NFL Draft, which begins April 23.

In the meantime, Kubiak’s message has stayed consistent across every microphone: build the habits now, then let the results show up later.

“Eventually that kind of wears away and then you got to go get to work,” he said at his introductory news conference. “That’s what I’m excited about doing.”
