Raiders expected to make massive shift for a franchise quarterback

As reported by SI.com, There is still a chance for the Las Vegas Raiders to make a move to get a franchise quarterback in Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders after all.

With a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Raiders didn’t exactly help themselves out for the upcoming NFL Draft.

When it comes to the draft order, the win dropped the Raiders from second to sixth, this development posed a possible roadblock for drafting Sanders.

Could the Raiders still make magic happen to nab Sanders?

Reporter Tyler Brooke of the 33rd Team thinks that the Raiders can still pull this off. Brooke is predicting that the Raiders finagle a trade with the New England Patriots for the second overall pick.

Brooke has also projected that the Raiders could give up the sixth overall pick, its second and third-rounders, and a second-rounder in 2026. The Raiders could use the second pick to grab Sanders.

The Raiders must draft a quarterback in the offseason. It’s been since 2007 that the Raiders have used a first-round pick on a quarterback and that was when they drafted JaMarcus Russell out of LSU.

The only other option for a quarterback is to find one in free agency or trade.

It was great that the Raiders got the win, but it may have cost them in the draft.
