Three WWE Stars That Can Transition Into UFC

@Joe Camporele-USA Today Sports

Wrestlemania is just around the corner, which means plenty of memorable moments in the WWE sphere. Whether it’s Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant or Stone Cold Steve Austin dishing out Stunners galore, the Show of Shows is always a spectacle for viewers everywhere.

So let’s have a little fun with the WWE by looking at which superstars would fit in well in the UFC. After all, both entities fall under the same corporate umbrella: TKO Holdings. But former UFC stars now in the WWE don’t count (sorry, CM Punk). Let’s look at which WWE superstars would make the transition to MMA seamless.

WWE Champion Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns would be a solid heavyweight in the UFC sphere, with his billed weight at a mean 280 lbs. The “Tribal Chief” was a former NFL offseason player who delivers hard hits in the ring. He was also a former defensive tackle at Georgia Tech, earning first-team All-ACC honors in 2006.

Granted, the Bloodline won’t accompany Reigns to the UFC, nor would Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson or Paul Heyman. However, UFC fans better believe that Roman Reigns can “reign” supreme in mixed martial arts as he has in the WWE. Therefore, it’s best to acknowledge the “Tribal Chief’s” greatness.

WWE United States Champion Logan Paul

Believe it or not, Logan Paul has a successful relative in the fighting sphere: Jake Paul. While “the Maverick” had a brief boxing career, his brother has an upcoming match with Mike Tyson, which is gearing up to be a blockbuster. Overall, Jake Paul has a 9-1 record, with victories over Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva.

Logan Paul seems like the perfect person to transition into MMA. The former YouTube star is athletic and quick, making the move to fighting seamless. Plus, he has Jake to rely on for more sparring knowledge and as a trainer.

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has earned a reputation as being a solid striker in the WWE. The “Prizefighter” can land deadly blows, dating back to his days at Ring of Honor. Owens would be a good UFC fighter if he became more agile.

The Quebec native would also cut some good UFC promos, adding some glitz to his profile for Dana White. Owens leaves it all on the line when he speaks, making him one of the more charismatic WWE stars around.
