The highly anticipated rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn is officially back on the table. According to Ring Magazine, the sequel is set for November 15. Returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London. The same venue where their thrilling April 26 clash took place, which saw Eubank win via unanimous decision.

The event is currently operating under the working title “The Ring: Unfinished Business,” a fitting label given the heated rivalry and the controversial buildup to their first bout. As two of Britain’s most prominent second generation fighters, the Eubank-Benn rivalry continues to capture public interest and promises to be a marquee matchup in the final stretch of the 2025 boxing calendar.

The saga between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn is as much a continuation of legacy as it is personal rivalry. Their April 26 clash reignited one of British boxing’s most iconic family feuds.

Eubank Jr.’s unanimous decision win not only handed Benn the first loss of his professional career but also extended the Eubank family’s dominance in the storied rivalry to 2-0-1 across three generations of fights. The original grudge dates back to the 1990s, when Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn waged two brutal battles that captured the nation’s attention. Interestingly, the April fight also marked the long-awaited reunion between Eubank Sr. and Jr., who had previously been at odds particularly over the terms for the Benn bout. The fight was agreed to at a 160 pound catchweight. With a strict 10-pound rehydration clause, which became a major storyline during fight week. Eubank Jr. came in 0.2 pounds over and, arriving late to the weigh-in, was not given extra time to shed the excess, resulting in a $500,000 fine. Despite the drama, he honored the rehydration clause and the fight went on.

The fight that brings family back together

In a memorable moment, Eubank Jr. walked to the ring alongside his father. Creating an emotional scene that tied past and present. He went on to outpoint Benn over twelve rounds, winning by identical scores of 116-112 across all three cards.

Plans for a rematch were floated almost immediately, with September 20 or 27 floated as potential dates. Benn and Matchroom Boxing were ready to proceed. But Eubank reportedly hospitalized following the bout went radio silent. Failing to formally agree to terms in time to keep those dates viable.

Now with a new target of November 15 and financial backing from Turki Alalshikh once again. “The Ring: Unfinished Business” looks poised to finally deliver round two of one of Britain’s most emotionally charged boxing rivalries.
