Lady Rebels take on Wyoming in nationally televised event

The UNLV Lady Rebels will tip-off against Wyoming on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Cox Pavillion.

The game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network. This will be the second time this season that the Lady Rebels will be featured on CBS Sports Network.

The Lady Rebels hold the all-time record against Wyoming, leading 31-28.

Amarachi Kimpson leads the Lady Rebels, averaging 14.0 points per game. Kiara Jackson is the Lady Rebels’ second-leading scorer, averaging 13.3 points per game.

In the Lady Rebels’ last time out, UNLV got the 84-51 victory over Air Force, continuing their undefeated path in the Mountain West. Five different Lady Rebels scored in double-figures.

Wyoming comes into this game with a 10-7, 4-1 MW. Wyoming is coming off a 66-61 win over UNR.

The Cowgirls have four players scoring in double-digits. Wyoming is led by the second-leading scorer in the MW, Allyson Fertig, who is averaging 18.4 points per game.

Fertig also leads the Cowgirls in rebounds per game with 9.8.

The Lady Rebels will return on the road for their next two Mountain West games; they’ll visit Fresno State first Wednesday at 6 p.m.
