LAS VEGAS — The Vegas Golden Knights are preparing to bring a little more of the Las Vegas Strip onto the ice. After months of anticipation, the Golden Knights have offered fans their first glimpse of their upcoming Hometown Remix jerseys. Featuring a roulette-inspired design, familiar black-and-gold colors and an unexpected addition of green.
The new uniforms are part of a league-wide initiative between the National Hockey League and Fanatics, celebrating the cities, cultures and communities that make each franchise unique.
The NHL announced Thursday, October 29, that the Hometown Remix collection will officially launch Monday, November 2, at 10 a.m. For the Golden Knights, the collection appears to embrace one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable symbols: the roulette wheel.
Golden Knights Put a Las Vegas Spin on Their Uniforms
During Thursday morning’s practice at City National Arena, Golden Knights players were spotted wearing new gear that appeared to offer a preview of the team’s upcoming Hometown Remix design.
The equipment featured black shorts with gold stripes and the word “Vegas,” along with glossy black helmets and gloves inspired by the colors of a roulette wheel. The gloves featured alternating red and black fingers, representing the familiar colors of roulette’s numbered pockets.
But the most surprising detail was the addition of green. Green cuffs on the gloves appeared to reference the zero and double-zero spaces found on American roulette wheels.
The same green color was also visible around the Golden Knights’ helmet logo on the jersey. For a franchise traditionally associated with gold, black, gray and red, the new color introduces a fresh visual element while maintaining a connection to the team’s hometown.
The design appears to be a deliberate tribute to Las Vegas’ casino culture, one of the defining characteristics of the city’s international identity.
‘Made for the City That Made Us’
The Golden Knights added to the excitement Thursday by releasing a 30-second teaser video on social media. The video, captioned “Made for the city that made us,” highlighted the bright neon lights and distinctive atmosphere of Las Vegas.
It concluded with what appeared to be a redesigned version of the franchise’s Season X logo. The teaser reinforced the connection between the new collection and the Golden Knights’ 10th NHL season.
Neon lighting has already played a prominent role in the team’s home-game presentation this season. Making the theme a natural fit for the Hometown Remix concept. The combination of roulette imagery and neon-inspired elements gives the Golden Knights an opportunity to celebrate the city’s entertainment identity while introducing a distinctive look for fans.
Although the team has not officially revealed every detail of the uniform. The practice equipment and teaser have provided strong indications of the direction the design will take.
NHL and Fanatics Celebrate All 32 Hockey Markets
The Hometown Remix collection was initially announced in August as a collaboration between the NHL and Fanatics. All 32 NHL franchises are expected to receive special-edition uniforms, apparel and headwear designed to reflect their respective cities and local cultures.
The concept allows teams to move beyond traditional uniform designs and incorporate elements that resonate with their fan bases. Several NHL teams have already announced when they intend to wear their Hometown Remix uniforms during home games.
However, the Golden Knights have not yet confirmed when their new jerseys will make their on-ice debut. With the collection scheduled to launch November 2, fans should soon have a clearer picture of the complete design.
The Hometown Remix collection isn’t the only uniform change Golden Knights fans can expect during the 2026-27 season. Vegas is also expected to wear a separate special-edition jersey for its upcoming Stadium Series matchup against the Dallas Stars on February 20 in Texas.
According to SinBin Vegas, the team will have a different look for that outdoor event. That would give the Golden Knights multiple opportunities to introduce new uniforms during a season already focused on celebrating the franchise’s history and connection to Las Vegas.
The Hometown Remix design, however, may be the most direct tribute yet to the city that has embraced the organization since its arrival in the NHL.
Golden Knights Continue Embracing Their Las Vegas Identity
Since entering the NHL, the Golden Knights have established one of professional sports’ most recognizable game-day atmospheres. From elaborate pregame introductions to theatrical entertainment and distinctive branding, the franchise has consistently embraced the personality of Las Vegas.
The Hometown Remix jerseys appear to continue that tradition. By incorporating roulette-inspired colors, neon imagery and the team’s signature gold-and-black foundation, the Golden Knights are creating a uniform concept that connects hockey with the entertainment capital of the world.
The final design and official on-ice debut remain to be confirmed. But the early preview has already provided plenty for fans to discuss.
The Vegas Golden Knights have never been afraid to embrace the spectacle of their hometown. With their new Hometown Remix jerseys. They’re preparing to bring another piece of the Las Vegas Strip directly onto the ice.
