This weekend should be excellent for both UFC and boxing fans. For the MMA world, there’s UFC 301, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday. For boxing fans, Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia is going down that same day.
The festivities start at 8:00 PM PST at T-Mobile Arena, where the undisputed super middleweight champion will take on the undefeated Munguia. Las Vegas does get a big fight on that weekend, which will pack the city.
UFC 301 will happen at the same time, with the main card happening at 7 PM PST at the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The card pays homage to the country’s contributions to the MMA realm, with a card loaded with the country’s fighters.
