Ninety days remain until the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pa., scheduled for April 23-25, 2026. After a 3-14 season in 2025, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick. Dice City Sports is counting down by highlighting the best Raiders to wear each jersey number. Today, January 23, the number is 90.

Grady Jackson, No. 90

Grady Jackson gave the Raiders size and stability inside during his five-season run from 1997-2001. He appeared in 67 games with 32 starts and posted 19 sacks, including an eight-sack season in 2000 when he started 15 games.

Eight sacks from the interior in 2000 is the separator.

Jackson’s busiest seasons came at the end of his time in Oakland. He totaled 68 tackles in 2000 and 69 in 2001, while adding 8.0 sacks in 2000 and 4.0 in 2001.

Draft and background

Jackson was born January 21, 1973, in Greensboro, Ala. He played at Hinds Community College and Tennessee before the Raiders drafted him in the sixth round, 193rd overall, in 1997. He arrived without big expectations, but he carved out a starting role and delivered his best football in Silver and Black.

Jackson’s best years came in Silver and Black, but his NFL résumé lasted far beyond Oakland. He played 185 career games with 35.5 sacks and nine forced fumbles, the kind of longevity that backs up his spot atop No. 90.

Next up tomorrow: No. 89.
