The Cleveland Cavaliers (55-10) will play the Memphis Grizzlies (42-24) in the NBA tonight. The game will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.

Cleveland comes into the matchup as 2.5-point favorites against Memphis (Cavaliers -2.5), with the over/under total points line set at 243.5. The Cavaliers are favored to win outright at -145, while the Grizzlies are looking for an upset at +120.

Cleveland

Cleveland leads the NBA with a 55-10 record, sitting 8.5 games ahead in the Eastern Conference. They are on a 15-game winning streak and recently defeated Brooklyn 109-104 after overcoming an 18-point deficit, with Darius Garland scoring 30 points.

With Donovan Mitchell injured, Garland averages 24.2 points and 6.7 assists per game, while Jarrett Allen leads in rebounds at 10.3 per game. Cleveland has the league’s best scoring average at 122.7 points per game and shoots 49.4% from the field and 39% from three.

Defensively, they allow 111.4 points per game and rank 10th in opponent shooting percentage. Cleveland is 41-23-1 against the spread this season, with 21-10 at home.

The over has hit 41 times this year, but the under has been successful in four straight games. Mitchell is out with a groin injury, while De’Andre Hunter is probable for the next game.

Memphis

Memphis stands at 42-24, ranked second in the Western Conference, 12 games behind the Thunder. They share second place with the Nuggets but own the tiebreaker. The Grizzlies have a solid 24-10 home record and are on a four-game win streak.

In their last game on March 12, they beat Utah 122-115, with Luke Kennard scoring 30 points and Ja Morant adding 28. Memphis shot 45.7% from the field and 45.5% from three.

Jaren Jackson Jr. leads the team with 22.7 points per game, while Zach Edey grabs 7.8 rebounds and Morant provides 7.5 assists. They average 122.7 points per game, ranking second in the league.

Defensively, they allow 116.7 points per game. Memphis is 36-29-1 against the spread this season, with an 18-16 record at home and 12-9-1 as underdogs. The total has gone over in 37 games, while the under has hit 6 times in their last 10.

Cavaliers-Grizzlies Best Bet

The Cavaliers have relied on double-digit comebacks to secure victories in their recent games. While they managed to pull this off against weaker opponents, they will likely struggle against Memphis, who sit in second place in the Western Conference.

Cleveland will miss Donovan Mitchell due to an injury, significantly impacting their chances. On the other hand, the Grizzlies will have Jaren Jackson Jr. back in their lineup, which should bolster their chances of winning at home.

Memphis boasts the second-best scoring offense in the league, trailing only Cleveland, but Mitchell’s absence will change that dynamic.

I like the Grizzlies to shock the Cavaliers and pull off the upset in this one.
