Lady Rebels host Boise State at home

The UNLV Lady Rebels are finally back home on Wednesday night to host Boise State at 6:30 p.m. They are looking for their seventh straight win.

The Lady Rebels are 18-12 all-time against Boise State. Under Lindy La Rocque, the Lady Rebels are 8-1 against Boise State.

The two teams first met on Jan. 4 where the Lady Rebels won 61-57.

In their last meeting against the Broncos, the Lady Rebels trailed into the fourth quarter.

Kiara Jackson led the Lady Rebels in the win with 18 points and four assists and tied for second on the team with seven rebounds. Jackson scored 10 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter to give the Lady Rebels the win.

Jackson also went 7-for-17 from the field and was perfect (4-for-4) from the free-throw line. The Lady Rebels continued their consistency in the paint, scoring 36 of their 61 points in the paint compared to Boise’s 24.

The Broncos are led by Tatum Thompson, who averages 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Natalie Pasco is the Bronco’s second-leading scorer, averaging 12.5 points per game.

Against Colorado State, the Lady Rebels achieved their sixth straight win 69-65.

The Lady Rebels were led by McKinna Brackens who scored 18 points, went 5-for-10 from the floor, 6-for-8 from the free throw line, and 2-for-4 from the 3-point line.

Aaliyah Alexander was the second-leading scorer with 14 points, while Alyssa Brown picked up her fourth double-double of this season, scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Brown also went 4-for-4 from the floor and three-point line.

Amarachi Kimpson added 10 points and was the second-leading rebounder with seven.

The Lady Rebels keep ascending in the Mountain West
