The Vegas Golden Knights announced via Twitter that forward Mark Stone is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
The announcement came before the Golden Knights took the ice against the Seattle Kraken.
Stone played the entire game as part of the team’s 4-2 victory against the Edmonton Oilers, scoring his team-leading 21st point with an empty-net goal. It is the first missed game this season for Stone, who has missed 65 games over the past two seasons with a variety of ailments (back and lacerated spleen).
The team also placed Nicolas Hague on injured reserve and recalled Jonas Rondbjerg from Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League.
It should be noted that Nicolas Hague is on IR, according to the NHL Media Roster page, but Stone is not. Take that for what its worth. #VegasBorn
