The struggling Milwaukee Brewers aim to reverse their fortunes as they hit the road for a six-game stretch. Beginning Friday evening, they will face the Oakland Athletics in a three-game series.

Oakland Athletics

The Athletics rank 25th in the majors in runs scored, 28th in batting average, 24th in on-base percentage, and 18th in slugging.

Brent Rooker has been a standout performer, hitting .286 this season with 29 home runs, 84 RBIs, seven stolen bases, and 61 runs scored. Shea Langeliers has also contributed, though his batting average is .227 with a .294 on-base percentage.

He has 22 home runs, 61 RBIs, and 43 runs scored. JJ Bleday rounds out the top hitters, batting .243 with a .326 on-base percentage, 17 home runs, 48 RBIs, and 59 runs scored this season.

In the past week, JJ Bleday has been on a bit of a hot streak, hitting .217 with a .333 on-base percentage. He has hit three home runs, driven in seven runs, and scored four times.

Seth Brown has also been impressive, batting .429 with a .500 on-base percentage, though he has only two RBIs and hasn’t scored a run this week.

Overall, the Athletics are hitting just .211 in the last week, with three home runs and 16 runs scored across six games.

In their matchups against Aaron Civale, current Athletics have a combined 14 career at-bats, managing just two hits. Seth Brown is 1-for-5 against Civale, while Shea Langeliers is 1-for-3.

The team has yet to record an RBI against Civale.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers rank 11th in the majors for runs scored, eighth in batting average, third in on-base percentage, and 13th in slugging.

Willy Adames has been a key contributor, hitting .250 with a .335 on-base percentage. Adames has also tallied 22 home runs, 85 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and 70 runs scored this season.

William Contreras is also having an outstanding year, boasting a .287 average with 17 home runs and 73 RBIs. He leads the team with a .360 on-base percentage and has scored 80 runs.

Though batting just .219, Rhys Hoskins has a .307 on-base percentage with 20 home runs and 60 RBIs and has crossed the plate 44 times.

In the last week, Willy Adames has been steady for the Brewers, hitting .222 but with an impressive .391 on-base percentage.

He has added a home run, five RBIs, and three runs scored. Joey Ortiz has also contributed, batting .235 with a .333 on-base percentage, four RBIs, and two runs scored.

William Contreras has been on fire, hitting .381 over the last week with two home runs, four RBIs, and four runs scored. As a team, the Brewers are batting .233 in the last week, with four home runs and 24 runs scored in six games.

In their previous matchups against JP Sears, the current Brewers have had ten at-bats and managed just one hit. Andruw Monasterio is one for two, while Willy Adames, William Contreras, and Eric Haase are each 0-3 against Sears.

Brewers-A’s Best Bet

The Oakland team has a solid home record of 32-33, compared to 23-40 on the road, which makes them a strong choice for this game.

Considering their overall performance, betting on the Athletics seems like a good idea due to their strong potential for success in this matchup.

I’ll take the A’s on the moneyline in this one, especially at plus-money odds.
