The PlayStation NBA Creator Cup will return to Las Vegas on July 9. It will unite prominent basketball content creators, influencers, and digital personalities for a distinctive showcase at The Pavilion at UNLV.
The event will be incorporated into the opening day festivities of the 2026 NBA Summer League. This will represent the first official integration of the Creator Cup into the Summer League schedule.
The game is scheduled to occur after three Summer League contests and will be streamed live on YouTube, the NBA App, and Facebook. The 2026 roster includes creators whose combined social media following exceeds 115 million.
The 2026 NBA Creator Cup will utilize a fast-paced format. The design is intended to enhance both entertainment value and competitive intensity.
Teams will compete in three eight-minute periods that incorporate special gameplay elements, such as a two-minute ‘Turbo Mode’ which accelerates the pace and introduces additional scoring opportunities.
Following the initial three periods, the contest will transition to a target-score conclusion. The winning score will be established as 11 points above the leading team’s total at the end of regulation.
Live viewers will have access to play-by-play commentary from Joe of Strictly Bball. Additionally, there will be contributions from special guest commentators throughout the event.
The PlayStation NBA Creator Cup has emerged as a highly anticipated fan event associated with NBA Summer League, integrating basketball, entertainment, and creator culture into a unique experience in Las Vegas.
