LAS VEGAS — The Super Bowl is coming back to Las Vegas. The NFL officially announced that Allegiant Stadium will host Super Bowl LXIII in 2029, marking the second time the venue will stage the league’s biggest event.
The decision, finalized during NFL league meetings, was widely expected. ESPN insider Adam Schefter had previously described the selection as a “matter of formality,” but ownership approval was still required to make it official. Now, Las Vegas is once again set to host the biggest spectacle in American sports.
A Proven Super Bowl Stage
Allegiant Stadium first hosted the Super Bowl in 2024, when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in an overtime thriller.
That game:
- Delivered one of the most dramatic finishes in Super Bowl history
- Showcased Las Vegas as a premier sports destination
- Left a lasting impression on the league
- Enough to bring the event back just five years later.
More Than Just Football
Since opening in 2020, Allegiant Stadium has quickly become one of the most versatile venues in sports.
It serves as home to:
- Las Vegas Raiders
- UNLV Rebels football
And has hosted:
- The Las Vegas Bowl
- Major concerts, including Taylor Swift
- WrestleMania (returning again in 2026)
Cementing its status as a global entertainment hub.

With the announcement, the NFL’s upcoming Super Bowl hosts are now lined up:
- 2027 — SoFi Stadium
- 2028 — Mercedes-Benz Stadium
- 2029 — Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas)
The game previously traveled to:

Las Vegas continues to solidify itself as the sports capital of the future. From hosting the Super Bowl to mega-events year-round, Allegiant Stadium has become one of the NFL’s crown jewels. And in 2029…The biggest game in the world will once again shine under the Vegas lights.
