Chelsea Gray has dominated the Unrivaled league all season, leading in nearly every statistical category. She became the first player to reach 400 points while also recording 100 career assists. She did not stop there, eventually becoming the first player in Unrivaled history to record 500 career points.
Gray has been untouchable in Unrivaled, leading her team to the league’s first championship last season. This season, she has them in the No. 3 seed at 4-3 after opening 3-0. They are still chasing a return to the No. 1 spot.
Gray’s Undefeated Stats
Gray is averaging 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6.4 assists, plus 1.6 steals, while shooting 55.6 percent from the field. She has six 20-plus point games this season, including four 30-plus point performances, all in just seven games.
She has had only one game under 20 points, a loss Jan. 23 against the Mist. Gray finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists, shooting 40 percent from the field. She bounced back Jan. 25 against the Phantom, erupting for 34 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists on 66.7 percent shooting.
Gray has long carried the “Point Gawd” nickname, and Unrivaled leaned into it in a post after she passed 400 career points. Gray will look to add to that case Jan. 30 against the Lunar Owls. That matchup could tilt in Rose’s favor after the teams’ first meeting this season, an 80-62 Rose win.
