  • What: NBA Regular Season Game
  • When: March 22, 2025
  • Who:   Golden State Warriors vs. Atlanta Hawks
  • Time:  4:00 p.m. PST
  • Where: State Farm Arena (Atlanta, GA)

Following their victory earlier this week against the Charlotte Hornets, the Atlanta Hawks aim to keep their winning streak alive as they host the Golden State Warriors tonight at State Farm Arena.

The Warriors come into the game with an impressive record, having won nine out of their last ten games, though they will be without Stephen Curry.

In their previous meeting, Golden State dominated, but this will be the first time Atlanta faces the revamped Warriors since their significant acquisition of Jimmy Butler.

Golden State

While the Warriors are 18th in PPG, their offense has changed since the trade deadline. Their defense is strong, placing them in the top 10 for PPG allowed.

Brandin Podziemski will have increased responsibilities in place of the injured Steph Curry. He’s been key in previous games without Curry, scoring effectively and contributing in other areas.

Jimmy Butler will be the primary offensive threat for the Warriors, playing a crucial role since his arrival and performing well in various aspects of the game. Dyson Daniels will guard Butler in this one.

Rookie Quinten Post has risen as an important player for Golden State, presenting a challenge for Onyeka Okongwu, who has been solid against similar players.

The Warriors also rely on the contributions of Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga, adding depth to their lineup.

Atlanta

The Hawks enter tonight’s game ranked 5th in points per game (PPG) but struggle defensively, sitting 27th in PPG allowed. They have balanced offensive metrics, but their shooting percentages are mediocre.

For the Hawks, Trae Young’s performance will be pivotal. He typically performs well against the Warriors but had a subpar outing in their last matchup.

The Hawks need strong rebounding to limit second-chance opportunities to compete with the Warriors’ rebounding prowess.

Overall, the game will hinge on Young’s ability to lead the Hawks and how well they can defend against a versatile Warriors team.

Warriors-Hawks Best Bet

The Warriors have recorded Under totals in three out of their last four games, scoring 105 points or less in 3 of those contests. Their defense, anchored by Green, has also been solid, allowing 114 points or fewer in five consecutive games.

The Hawks are even at 3-3 on the Over/Under in their last six matchups, with two of their last three games resulting in scores of 114 or fewer.

Recently, Atlanta’s defense has improved, conceding 110 points or less in two of their last four games. Bet on the defense for the Warriors shining in this one.

Best Bet: Under 233.5 Points at -110 odds
