The Golden State Warriors (26-26) are hitting their stride just in time for a crucial matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks (28-23) at Fiserv Forum.
With tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, the Warriors are favored by 6.5 points, and here’s why that spread feels a bit too low given the current circumstances.
Golden State
On the flip side, the Warriors are coming off a solid 132-111 victory over the Chicago Bulls, where new addition Jimmy Butler made a splash with 25 points in his debut.
Stephen Curry is also heating up, scoring 34 points in that game and averaging over 30 points in his last three outings.
The chemistry between Curry and Butler is already showing promise, and with the Bucks allowing the most points to point guards this season, Curry is primed for another big night.

Golden State has been a different team on the road, boasting an 11-13 record but with a point differential of zero, indicating they can compete with anyone away from home.
They’ve won four of their last seven games, and when they win, they cover the spread. The Warriors are 6-4 against the spread in their last ten games, and they’ve covered in five consecutive straight-up wins.
This trend is crucial as it shows their ability to not just win but to do so convincingly.
Milwaukee
First off, let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Giannis Antetokounmpo is out for the Bucks. The two-time MVP is sidelined with a calf injury, and his absence is a massive blow to Milwaukee’s chances.
While the Bucks recently added Kyle Kuzma to their roster, which should help them defensively, it’s hard to ignore the fact that they’ve struggled without their star player.

In the last eight games without Giannis, the Bucks have averaged just 111.3 points per game, a stark contrast to their usual offensive firepower.
The Bucks, despite their recent win against the Philadelphia 76ers, have been inconsistent. They’ve lost five of their last seven games and are just 1-6 against the spread during that stretch.
Milwaukee’s defense has been a liability, allowing at least 125 points in six of their last nine games. With the Warriors’ offense looking rejuvenated, it’s hard to see how the Bucks can keep up, especially without Giannis.
Warriors-Bucks Best Bet
Moreover, the Warriors have been hitting the Over in their games, going 8-2 in their last ten. They’ve scored at least 112 points in their last three games, and with the Bucks allowing 14 three-pointers per game, expect Golden State to exploit that weakness.
The Warriors’ ability to shoot from deep, combined with their recent offensive output, suggests they’ll not only score but do so efficiently.
While the Bucks may have added Kuzma to help fill the void left by Giannis, the Warriors are the hotter team right now.
They’re finding their rhythm, and with Curry and Butler leading the charge, they should be able to cover the spread of 7.5 points. Lay the points and back the Warriors to take care of business tonight.
