The Las Vegas Raiders have been getting busy with their coaching search.
The team is currently scheduled to interview Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn on Friday. Interviews with Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh are also being planned.
However, the Raiders are now confirmed to be going after their biggest name so far.
According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are scheduled to interview former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll next week for their head coaching vacancy.

Carroll has been reported to be looking for a return to the sidelines after being out of football in 2024, with the Raiders being his second confirmed interview of the coaching cycle.
Carroll has arguably the strongest resume of any head coach in this cycle, coaching the Seahawks from 2010-23. In his time in Seattle, Carroll went 137-69-1 and took the Seahawks to two Super Bowls, winning one in 2014.
Carroll is one of only three head coaches to win both a Super Bowl and national championship in college football, with Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer being the other two.
With general manager Tom Telesco also fired by the Raiders on Thursday, Carroll could also choose to bring in a GM of his choice. Candidates like former Seahawks scout and current Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds or Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasley come to mind.
In a division featuring high-profile coaches such as Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh and Sean Payton, adding someone like Carroll would give the Raiders a proven winner who can turn the franchise around quickly.
