Aces vs Dream Prediction and Odds

© Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

On Friday, May 31 the Las Vegas Aces will head to Atlanta to take on the Dream after a statement win against the Lynx. This could be the continuation of the team’s two-game winning streak or the second win at home for Atlanta. Viewers can tune in to this contest on Ion through their streaming service.

Spread for this game is currently listed at 15.5 and in favor of Las Vegas. In their last game, the Aces defeated the Minnesota Lynx by 14. Atlanta was defeated by the Lynx by a margin of 13 earlier this season.

Moneyline is strongly favored towards the Aces at -1400. In order to win $100, a bettor would need to place a $1,400 bet. Believers in the underdog would take a +800 odd bet for Atlanta on the other hand.

Over/under for this matchup is currently set at 168.5 which is slightly lower than most Aces games totals. Many Dream contests are around this mark for the most part.

Aces Players Lines

A’Ja Wilson has been on a scoring tangent in her last two performances scoring 29 both times. Her line currently sits at 25.5 which she did not hit in the two games prior.

An interesting line is rebounds for Jackie Young at the 5.5 mark. In the last two games she has fallen short, but usually is easily above this line.

Coming off of a low scoring game, Kelsey Plum has a 19.5 points line. She scored 10 points in this matchup and has only passed this line twice all season.

Prediction

For this matchup, it is easy to predict that the Aces will dominate the Dream as they are proven to be a more complete team. The spread can easily be covered as they have proven how dramatic the scores can be differentiated. Staying away from the over/under would be smart being that this is likely not a tightly contested ball game.
