The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Rich Scangarello as their new quarterback coach. Scangarello has been training potential No.1 overall pick Caleb Williams before the upcoming NFL Draft. He was the offensive coordinator for the University of Kentucky when Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was a Wildcat.
Scangarello’s return to the Raiders will see him working with a possible rookie and Aiden O’Connell, who had an impressive rookie season with the team. However, reports suggest the Raiders may also target an experienced quarterback to add to the quarterback room.
With such a diverse group of quarterbacks, Scangarello will have his work cut out for him. But he’s no stranger to developing young talent, having previously served as offensive coordinator at the University of Kentucky. Scangarello’s proven track record of success and extensive experience make him the perfect fit for the Raiders as they look to elevate their quarterback play.
Overall, Scangarello’s hiring is a significant coup for the Raiders, and fans will eagerly anticipate the impact he can have on the team’s quarterback room.
