The Atlanta Dream are scheduled to play a record sixth game at State Farm Arena this season. This comes after the relocation of their August 3 matchup against the Las Vegas Aces to the larger downtown venue. Excitement is growing throughout Atlanta for this historic occasion.

This decision addresses rising fan demand during a landmark season for the franchise. Fans in Atlanta will be thrilled that the game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

According to team officials, the additional game at State Farm Arena will allow thousands more fans to attend. The Dream have maintained a streak of 50 consecutive regular-season sellouts across home venues over the past three seasons. Such a streak is impressive for a team based in Atlanta.

The event will also feature the Dream’s Barbie Game Day celebration, which will include themed ticket packages and exclusive merchandise inspired by the iconic doll brand. This is just one of many reasons Atlanta fans are looking forward to the big day.

Special ticket packages will be available for purchase. These may include a commemorative headband, a clear crossbody bag, or a limited-edition Angel Reese-themed jersey, depending on the selected package. Consequently, Atlanta supporters have several exclusive options to choose from.

Exclusive tickets for Barbie Game Day will be offered for purchase, further energizing the atmosphere in Atlanta.

The Dream will collaborate with Lendistry to host Small Business Night, which will highlight four Atlanta-area small businesses on the evening. The event will showcase local entrepreneurs and their contributions to the regional economy. Additionally, the first 11,000 attendees will receive a rally towel provided by Lendistry as part of the Atlanta-based celebration.

Established in 2008, the Atlanta Dream represent the Southeast’s only WNBA franchise. The team typically hosts home games at Gateway Center Arena. Naturally, the city’s sporting history is closely tied to Atlanta pride.

The August 3 game establishes a new record for the most contests scheduled by the team at State Farm Arena in a single season. This reflects the increasing popularity of the franchise and women’s basketball in Atlanta.
