- When: April 26, 2025
- Who: Vegas Golden Knights vs. Minnesota Wild
- Time: 1:00 p.m. PST
- Where: Xcel Energy Center (Saint Paul, MN)
The Vegas Golden Knights will face the Minnesota Wild in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday at 1 p.m. PST at Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild lead the series 2-1 after a 5-2 victory in Game 3, where Adin Hill allowed 4 goals before being replaced by Akira Schmid. The Golden Knights scored twice, courtesy of Alex Pietrangelo and Reilly Smith.
The Wild have dominated the Golden Knights in this series.
The Wild have outscored the Knights 10-4 in the last two games. Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov have combined for 13 points. Special teams played a key role, as the Wild went 2-for-4 on power plays, while Vegas failed to score on theirs.
In goal, Hill has struggled, while Filip Gustavsson has performed well. I’m leaning toward betting the Over, as it has hit in the last 4 meetings, and the uncertainty in the Golden Knights goal makes it appealing.
I have much more confidence in the total than I do in taking a side in this one. This one feels like another high scoring showdown in Minnesota.
Best Bet: Over 5.5 goals at -125 odds
