On Wednesday, March 5, the UNLV Lady Rebels will close out the regular season on the road against Wyoming at 7:30 p.m.
With their win against Boise State, The Lady Rebels secured the no.1 seed in the Mountain West Conference regular season Championship for the fourth straight year.
This is the first time in program history that the Lady Rebels have claimed the regular season MW title.
In their 89-56 win over San Jose State on Saturday, UNLV honored seniors Alyssa Brown, Kiara Jackson, Macie James and Kenadee Winfrey.
The Lady Rebels had four players score double-digits, led by Meadow Roland, who scored a career-high 24 points. Roland went 8-for-11 from the floor and 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
McKinna Brackens and Kiara Jackson both scored 15 points. Jackson also led the Lady Rebels in assists with six. Alyssa Brown led the team with 13 rebounds.
Amarachi Kimpson added 10 points and two steals.
Wyoming has three players scoring in double digits this season.
The Cowgirls are led by Allyson Fertig, averaging a double-double of 19.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
In the last two meetings between the teams, both games went into overtime with the Lady Rebels coming out victorious in both games.
Under coach La Rocque, the Lady Rebels are 8-3 against the Cowgirls. The Lady Rebels are 32-28 overall against Wyoming. UNLV have won the last six meetings between the two teams.
The game will be televised on FS1.
