The UNLV Lady Rebels sent their seniors off in dominating fashion with an 89-56 win over San Jose State.
The Lady Rebels had four players score double-digits, led by Meadow Roland, who scored a career-high 24 points. Roland went 8-for-11 from the floor and 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
McKinna Brackens and Kiara Jackson both scored 15 points. Jackson also led the Lady Rebels in assists with six. Alyssa Brown led the team with 13 rebounds.
Amarachi Kimpson added 10 points and two steals.
San Jose State was led by Amiah Simmons who scored 24 points, while Rylei Waugh scored 10 points. Djessira Diawara led the Spartans with eight rebounds.
To begin the game, the Lady Rebels fell behind. They soon turned up the heat to go on an 11-point run in the second quarter. San Jose State closed the gap with a three-pointer, bringing.
The Lady Rebels then went on an eight-point run to put them up by double-digits, bringing the score to 40-29.
UNLV went on another scoring tangent, scoring with four straight free throws to keep up an 11-point lead, 44-33.
The Lady Rebels did not let up on the Spartans for the remainder of the game.
The Lady Rebels had the best free-throw shooting game, shooting 96% from the line.
