On Sunday, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Oakland A’s will face off in an MLB game at the Oakland Coliseum.

Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 9-5 in their latest matchup. Brent Rooker shone with a home run and three RBIs, while JJ Bleday added a solo shot.

Daz Cameron and Joe Boyle also made contributions, though Boyle allowed five runs over five innings.

Oakland recently made some under-the-radar signings, bringing in players like Alex Wood, Scott Alexander, and J.D. Davis.

In response to Trevor Gott’s Tommy John surgery, the Athletics acquired Austin Adams and T.J. McFarland.

Additional roster moves included the addition of Ross Stripling, Miguel Andujar, and Abraham Toro. Joey Estes is set to start, coming off a promising stretch with a 4.44 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP.

The Athletics are currently ranked 15th in power rankings, with their offense and defense ranked 25th and 20th, respectively.

They hold a 55-73 record. The Brewers have dominated Oakland recently, winning all three of their last matchups.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers clinched a 9-5 win over the Oakland Athletics, highlighted by strong performances from Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell, who each drove in two runs.

Willy Adames was a standout at the plate, reaching base four times, while Colin Rea delivered a solid performance on the mound.

The Brewers bolstered their roster with strategic trades ahead of the deadline, and Frankie Montas is set to take the mound next, aiming to extend the team’s winning streak with his improved form in recent outings.

Milwaukee currently holds the second spot in the power rankings, ranking 11th in offense and 3rd in defense, with a season record of 73-54.

To continue pursuing the best record in baseball, the Brewers will need key players like Montas to maintain their strong performances.

Brewers-A’s Best Bet

The Milwaukee Brewers are favored on the road and offer solid value. Frankie Montas has been consistent, allowing no more than three runs in each of his last four starts.

Milwaukee is the stronger team and is starting to gain momentum. I would have to lean toward the Brewers winning this one.

I’d bet Brewers moneyline in this one.

Will the A’s losing streak continue against the Brewers?
