Raiders response to first loss centers on corrections

Klint Kubiak dismissed moral victories after the Raiders’ 30-27 loss to Kansas City. Las Vegas now turns its attention to ball security, the run game and a road test against New England.

The Raiders spent Sunday proving their 3-0 start was no fluke. By Tuesday, Klint Kubiak had already moved past the idea that coming close to Kansas City should provide any comfort.

Las Vegas outgained the Chiefs, controlled possession and had a chance to force overtime in the final seconds of a 30-27 loss. None of that changed Kubiak’s standard after the first defeat of his Raiders tenure.
