LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Raiders could be thinking big as they attempt to build around their surprising start to the 2026 season. A very big might mean Marvin Harrison Jr.

According to KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson, the Raiders have emerged as a potential destination for the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver as speculation surrounding Harrison’s future continues to grow.

The Houston Texans have also been linked to Harrison. There is an important distinction here: Las Vegas being identified as a potential destination doesn’t mean a trade is imminent or that the Raiders have made Arizona an offer. But if Harrison is legitimately available, Raiders general manager John Spytek should have plenty of reasons to make the call.

Harrison Would Give Raiders Something They’re Missing

Las Vegas has weapons. Brock Bowers has quickly established himself as one of the NFL’s most dangerous tight ends. Michael Mayer gives the Raiders another big target in the middle of the field, and the offense has received contributions elsewhere.

What the Raiders don’t have is a receiver with Harrison’s combination of size, pedigree and potential to become a dominant outside weapon. Adding him could fu ndamentally change Klint Kubiak’s offense.

Defenses already have difficult decisions to make when Bowers and Mayer are on the field together. Put Harrison outside? Those decisions become even more complicated.

Safeties couldn’t simply shade their attention toward Bowers. Linebackers would have to deal with the Raiders’ tight ends underneath while Harrison threatens defenses vertically and along the boundary. That’s the type of addition that can change an offense rather than merely improve one position.
