A’s win back-to-back series after Williams triple

A’s win back-to-back series for the first time since June after a 7-4 comeback against the Minnesota Twins. Alika Williams delivered the go-ahead two-run triple in a four-run sixth inning, while Lawrence Butler added insurance with his 12th homer.

Alika Williams delivered the biggest swing in a four-run sixth inning, and the Athletics came from behind Wednesday night to beat the Minnesota Twins 7-4 at Sutter Health Park.

The Athletics are off Thursday before returning to Sutter Health Park for a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles.

The series opens Friday at 6:40 p.m. PT. Saturday’s game is set for 7:05 p.m. PT, followed by the Sunday finale at 1:05 p.m. PT.
