The NBA and Ghostwrite marked their second blind-box collaboration, producing the 2025-26 season set. The drop showcases stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and Nikola Jokić, while also featuring Pete Davidson in Knicks attire. These figures are a must-have for any NBA fan or collector.
Following the massive release of the 2025 WNBA Game Face blind boxes, Ghostwrite knew it needed to drop its NBA counterpart soon. With the announcement of the exclusive release came a 1-of-1 Pete Davidson chase figure. It was so rare that Davidson publicly put a $10,000 bounty on it. The news spread fast, and fans around the world started ripping box after box in hopes of landing the prize.
However, these cases are not easy to get. Ghostwrite’s official release ran in an auction-style format, with only 2,000 total cases available. Even a single case is selling for hundreds. Right now, the only known retailer is 3DRetro in Las Vegas. The shop first showcased and sold them on its livestream through the Palmstreet app, and viewers bought up a big chunk of the limited stock. Fortunately, 3DRetro still has some available for anyone who missed the live.
Furthermore, a worldwide league like the NBA teaming up for an exclusive collab has fans everywhere scrambling to get figures of their favorite players.
Rookie Cooper Flagg is also a huge chase for collectors. Many expect his figure to hold value similar to his high-end graded cards, which can sell for thousands. With time running out, Vegas locals and online shoppers are flooding 3DRetro to grab cases before they disappear.
