- What: WNBA Regular Season Game
- When: July 15, 2025
- Who: Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun
- Time: 5:00 p.m. PST
- Where: TD Garden (Boston, MA)
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are on a hot streak, securing consecutive dominating victories that have pushed their record above .500 as they prepare to face the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday.
The game will be held at TD Garden in Boston, where the Sun also played one of their home games during the 2024 season.
The Sun have faced significant challenges this season, losing all five of their starting players from last year in the offseason and accumulating only three wins in the 2025 campaign.
The team’s standout player, guard Marina Mabrey, is also sidelined due to a knee injury.
Consequently, Connecticut is a considerable underdog against a Fever squad eager to climb the standings now that Clark has returned from a groin injury. While Indiana stands at 11-10 this season, they boast the third-best net rating in the league.
The Fever have the advantage over the three-win Sun. Connecticut has endured numerous double-digit defeats in 2025, including a 17-point loss to Indiana on June 17.
This matchup isn’t a genuine home game for the Sun, who have faced difficulties against the spread. They went 10-11 this season despite often being double-digit underdogs.
With Marina Mabrey still sidelined, Connecticut lacks the offensive strength to compete with a healthy Fever squad that has scored 201 points against its opponents in the last two games.
Indiana currently ranks third in net rating, third in offensive rating, and seventh in defensive rating this season. In contrast, Connecticut will be at the bottom of the rankings in all those categories—and more—during the 2025 season.
As bad as the Sun have been this season, I’m not too big a fan of a 15.5 point spread, so I’ll target the total instead. This one has all the makings of a fast-paced game making the over the play.
