The Winnipeg Jets will battle the Dallas Stars in Game 4 of their Western Conference semifinal series on Tuesday at 5 p.m. PST at the American Airlines Center.
The Jets fell 5-2 in Game 3, failing to capitalize on their power play opportunities, and now hold a 1-for-13 record in that department for the series.
Connor Hellebuyck has struggled on the road, going 0-4 with a 6.65 goals-against average and a .771 save percentage, allowing over five goals in each game.
However, he has recently shown some improvement against high-danger chances.
Roope Hintz scored a power-play goal early in Game 3, and Mikko Rantanen contributed his ninth goal of the playoffs. Jake Oettinger was stellar in goal for the Stars, stopping 24 of 26 shots.
As the Jets face the pressure of performing away from home, I expect a tighter contest. However, given their struggles on the road and Hellebuyck’s difficulties, I’m backing the Stars tonight.
The Stars on the money line against the Jets is the best bet in this one.
