The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels are back on the winning side with a 68-57 road win against Wyoming on Saturday.

Dedan Thomas, Jr. led the Runnin’ Rebels, scoring a game-high 18 points.

Jaden Henley stepped up with 13 points, followed by Julian Rishwain with 11 points.

Wyoming only had two players score in double-digits. Obi Agbim led the Cowboys with 14. Cole Henry added 10 points and six assists.

The Runnin’ Rebels came out booming in the first half. They went on a 7-1 run to bring the score to 30-23. They owned the advantage for most of the second half, leading by as much as 16 with three minutes left in the game.

The Runnin’ Rebels limited the Cowboys to just 32.3 percent from the floor in the first half.

“We had a great fight from start to finish in large part because of the respect the guys carried over from playing Wyoming a couple of weeks ago,” UNLV coach Kevin Kruger said. “We knew how hard they were going to play and how physical and together they play. That’s a tough place to play and they play really well together, so I’m really proud of our guys for having that approach going into it.”

The Runnin’ Rebels take on Air Force at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
